HS2 Ltd the company responsible for the design, engineering and construction of Britain’s new high speed railway has arranged a series of regional supply chain roadshows aiming to explain the types of work package that will be available and to advice firms on how to get in the best position to bid for the contracts. This is an important event for companies in the Black Country looking to bid for HS2 contracts so it could be worth the effort of attending.
HS2 Ltd will host 11 roadshow events across the UK, meeting companies interested in exploring the thousands of supply chain opportunities created by HS2.
Through presentations, face-to-face time with HS2 experts and networking, participants will hear from, and meet with, the HS2 teams and industry partners responsible for Supply Chain, Health and Safety, Community Relations, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), Skills, Employment and Education and Environment. At each event participants will discover the scale and timing of contracts and what their business needs to do to get ready to bid.
The West Midlands roadshow takes place at The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) in Coventry on Thursday 7th July between8.30am and 1.30pm. For full details of the event including how to book can be found here.
