Residents and visitors can this week get a feel of what it will be like inside Wolverhampton Interchange’s new railway station in a virtual fly though video.

The opportunity comes during the ‘Enjoy Wolverhampton’ ten-day programme, which is highlighting the city’s gems and providing a host of free or purse-friendly activities and offers.

The video was screened at the railway station yesterday (Monday) and will be screened again on Thursday and is also available to view on YouTube channel ‘Wolverhampton Today’.

Interchange Partnership staff will be at the railway station on the same days handing out Q&A leaflets about the project. To help keep commuters informed of developments around the railway station the Twitter feed @WVInterchange also went live yesterday (Monday).

Councillor Peter Bilson, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for City Assets, said: “The fly through video really hammers home what a state-of-the-art station railway station the city can look forward to. “Through the Enjoy Wolverhampton July programme we are currently showcasing what the city has to offer and it is important we have a station that gives visitors the best first impression of Wolverhampton.”
